WELCOME TO FLORIDA: There's a 13-foot python in your pool
In Palmetto Bay, Florida, a 13-foot Burmese python jumped into some poor family's swimming pool. They called 911 (because this is totally an emergency, right?) and the police/wildlife protection didn't even show up, but a production company did! LOL!
Removal attempt 1:
Crew member tried to grab the snake.
Snake was like, "No!" and continued swimming about.
Removal attempt 2:
Crew member grabbed the snake and pulled it a few feet out of the water.
Snake was like, "No!" and jumped back into the pool and continued swimming about.
Removal attempt 3:
Several crew members grabbed the snake and pulled it out of the water.
Snake was like, "Hey! Put me back." :(
They released the python at a farm in Homestead, FL.
GREAT.
That's where my parents live.
Never going swimming back home again.
I'd probably go paralytic on the spot and drown if I saw a snake swimming in the pool with me.
